The new Bentley Continental GT Speed will debut at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed and feature in the daily Michelin Supercar Run. Bentley sent us a press release last night with their news for the 2012 Goodwood Festival of Speed, which included the news that they will debut a new model and that it would feature in the Supercar run. After letting it wither to nothing but the name on a set of spoilers in an accessories catalogues a few years ago, Fiat really is serious about the Abarth brand again. We’ve already had hot Punto and 500 Abarth road cars, the Abarth 500 Assetto Corse racer, and now there’s this, the Abarth 500 R3T rally car, unveiled at the San Remo Rally. Not quite.
Bentley has shown the convertible sister to the new Continental GT coupe: it's the new Conti GTC, due to be unveiled at the 2011 Frankfurt motor show. The Continental GTC Mk2 is entirely in line with the latest coupe - a sophisticated, subtle update to the 2005 original. There's the same smoother front end styling, the more squinty headlamps and a more exaggerated 'power line' with incredibly sharp creases.
